The Kigali Genocide Memorial came from collaboration between Rwandan authorities and the Aegis Trust, born from the UK National Holocaust Centre. Aegis began peace education at the Memorial. Now in Rwanda’s national curriculum, it has inspired leaders from divided communities internationally to partner with the Memorial on their own peacebuilding.
